Otto the Ottoman (7 Sided)
Prompt: Use a 4'x4' piece of plywood to create something with minimal to no waste.
I needed an ottoman. But what shape? I thought of all the shapes ever, and 7 sided furniture is quite sparse in this world, so I knew what I had to do. But a closed object? No. Where would I put my little books and games? It has to have storage. And I want my own checkerboard for Checkers! That's how Otto the Ottoman was born.
The top of the ottoman is double-sided. One side is a foot cushion and the other side doubles as a checkerboard.
Otto is constructed from birch plywood, stained with acrylic ink, burned using pyrography, and lined with fabric.
