A Saturday In Helsingør is a watercolor capture of a bustling street in the small northern city of Helsingør in Denmark. The first time I visited the town I wanted to come back and paint my memories. Saturdays are special because of the outdoor flea markets as well as the abundance of antique shops and weekly parades. I felt welcomed and a part of the community. Many people came up to me speaking Danish, though I did not know what they were saying, the joy on their faces when they saw mw working told me everything I needed to know. There was an older woman who spoke many sentences and communicated that she was a watercolor artist as well.
