Huayna Picchu From Machu Picchu is a watercolor capture of the mountain of the same name in Peru. I was with my mom as we hiked up the mountain, it was quite cold and foggy. Rain was almost upon us, but I hiked without a parka. I embraced the wind and cold as we ventured up. Once we got to the main viewing spot seeing Huayna Picchu was pretty breath taking. We were given a tour of the innovative Inca city of Machu Picchu, with its sewer systems and sun worshiping temples. It was an amazing opportunity to visit and I wished to capture the life of the city in a painting.
