Plaza De Armas Del Cusco is a watercolor capture of the location of the same name in Cusco Peru.​ Over a week of visiting the beautiful city, I learned a lot about Inca history. Today, the people of Cusco are erasing the influence of their Spanish colonizers. The Inca statue in the center of the plaza represents the healing of the city, which is placed in front of the Catholic Church.​ I met many people while studying the fountain. One of my favorite moments was a woman with a note book who sat next to me. She looked over to see me drawing and proceeded to turn her book horizontally and sketch along with me.
